Information
Dance Marathon at the University of Florida is an event where 725 students stand for 26.2 hours to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network at Shand’s Childrens Hospital on the University of Florida campus. The 26.2 hours of standing represent the physical and mental pain the children go through on a daily basis. This blog will have information about Dance Marathon on April 2nd and 3rd, 2011 and all events leading up to it. I hope that it will inspire you as it did us…

You are amazing. This is an awesome job. You inspire me!
Hey! I’m from Cleveland State University and we are looking to host our own Dance Marathon to raise money for a local charity in Cleveland. How did you guys get this started? What do you do for admittance (dancers..like teams or they have to raise a certain amount…do you charge people to come watch the marathon?). I’m interested in any and all information you can give me! My email is listed, too, if you want to just contact me that way. Thanks!
one more thing, how does it work out? like do you have people who really go for the whole 26.2 hours??
Hey Jordan,
I cannot find your email… could you leave it here or email me at putrinok@floridadm.org! Thanks and I look forward to talking to you!
