Staff members represent the lifeblood of Dance Marathon. It is only through their hard work that DM at UF has been able to raise over 3.2 million dollars for Children’s Miracle Network at Shands Children’s Hospital at the University of Florida. Dance Marathon at the University of Florida is an event where 725 students stand for 26.2 hours to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network at Shand’s Childrens Hospital on the University of Florida campus. The 26.2 hours of standing represent the physical and mental pain the children go through on a daily basis. This blog will have information about Dance Marathon on April 2nd and 3rd, 2011 and all events leading up to it. I hope that it will inspire you as it did us…
